I just went through all this recently for a 2013 C4S.
For those that went with the Ultraleggera HLTs, what did you do about the offset? When I inquired about these wheels, I received a prompt response with the sizes that "fit just fine." The rear wheels available were 20x11 with an offset of 65.
Well, the offset on the C4S "Carrera S" 11x20 wheels is 52. I have the 11.5x20 SportTechno wheels which have an offset of 48. In my view, "fit just fine" is different than "fit correctly."
My goal was to avoid spacers. With the Ultraleggera HLTs spacers would be required to get the same fitment as stock.
I considered the 20" Ultraleggera HLTs, the OEM 19" and OEM 20" packages. The cheapest was coming in >$4500 when shipping was included. The 20" OEM package was nice, but $6K for snow wheels/tires (when I have something else for the really bad days) made me flinch.
Since I was going to need spacers anyway to have the same fitment (with the SportTechno wheels, the car does not come with them) I decided to go with 19" OEM wheels from a 997 C4S. I found some used in excellent condition, including the latest generation of TPMS and mint colored crest center caps. With shipping, new tires from the Tire Rack (the N-spec Pirellis), dealer-mounting and balancing, and spacers and new longer black bolts from Shark Werks, I'm all in for $3200.
