Is the 911 Still Sexy?
Is the 911 losing its sexiness in this latest iteration of the 991? While I don't doubt it's mechanical prowess and evolution, is the exterior allure losing its edge?
As background, I've owned 3 different generations of the 911 - Carrera, 964 and 997. I have a deposit on a 991-50 for Spring/euro delivery.
I am a p-car junkie (and have owned a bunch of other p-cars) and am looking forward to the 991, but my eyes are wandering as I see other cars that IMO look more appealing/exotic (although, likely mechanically inferior).
What does the community think about the 991 vs older generations?

Burning Brakes
People can argue the specs of one car being superior to another. However body style is subjective and only you can determine what you like best. What anyone else likes is irrelevant.

I wanted a Carrera but the 996 left me cold. The 997 was nice but I could never pull the trigger. The 991 styling, to me, is the best since the 993. So I have a 991 and a 993 now.

From my experience the 991 is overwhelmingly more sexy than any past incarnation. I have the model delete badge option and some people even ask me which porsche model it is, if you can believe that. They usually go on to say how it looks so much better than the older body styles. I personally will always be a huge fan of the 993, and will walk across a walmart size parking lot to get a better look at one.

proof that it is the sexiest or one of the sexist cars today.....................
several of us in 991's were ripping up the disserted back roads along a river in NW Washington............we come to a stop where there is a group of about 20 college kids going for a river float. Immediately six of the girls drop there tubes and come over to try to get a ride in the infamous "white-shocking red C2S cab" from the far north............leaving 10 guys with their jaws on the ground. I thought they were going to jump on the duck tail.
