Default PSE retrofit pricing

My preowned car had everything I wanted except for PSE, can anyone who has had it installed at the dealer (including the switch) comment on what it cost out the door? Thanks!

I know there are other alternatives but I want to keep it factory. I have a base car, I think it's more expensive on there, so specify if you can.

Folks here have described parts plus dealer installs ranging from $3200 to $3600. Be sure to get the console button and the correct factory operating sequences.

Check with Suncoast (info is on their site) as to the price difference.

The base car is more expensive. You'll need:
- new exhaust tips
- new PSE center section
- vacuum hoses
- vacuum actuator
- harness for the vacuum actuator
- programming to activate the actuator
- new side mufflers
- console switch

An S without PSE just needs:
- new center section
- vacuum hoses
- programming
- console switch

I thought that the standard S exhaust tips did not fit the PSE outlet tubes- new ones come with the factory kit. Check with your installer to avoid surprises.

I bought the kit from Suncoast for my 991 C2S for ~$2600. Everything that was needed came in the package. Muffler, exhaust tips & new switch panel (the entire panel gets replaced, not just a switch). Paid my local dealer $800 to install. Great upgrade.

It's $400 more for the non-S cars from Suncoast -- $2995. Local dealer said $4100; 8 hours labor at their rate is $1032 so price seems in line.

yes, sounds right - my dealer quoted $1200 in labor but came in at $800.
