I like the mod....but do the spacers make the painted surfaces any more susceptible to getting blasted by gravel, etc., with the rubber sticking out further to the sides?
Yes, that's been my personal experience. I wrote about it in detail on a similar thread. I suggest clear film to protect the area behind the wheels and painted edges in the wheel wells.
