Best, Bret.
Interesting that the problem is often resolved after a 20-30 min. wait. Possibly something to do with cooling and/or sensors resetting?

Speaking of sensors and the car's electronics in general, I'm always amazed at the multitude of sounds the car emits after shutdown and following door or luggage/engine compartment operation. Seems like it takes several minutes before the car finally puts itself to sleep.

Agree,
Thermal expansion vs thermal overload is probably the issue.

These are all helpful. Dealer just called, my C2S MT7 is in the country and due at dealer this week. About 3 - 4 weeks before original Dec projection.

Thanks everyone.

This happened to me once. I have a question for those of you that are able to get the dealer to do something for you. My dealer says that they will not be able to do anything, if they cannot duplicate it or get a fault code. How did you get your dealer to do the changes?

You get them to call PCNA technical, who know about the issue.

Yeah yeah... just looking for an update as the reference to the OP on 6Speed having a PDK was never really settled/confirmed.

Thanks anyway.

While on the phone to make the appointment, I made that request, but they refused, saying that they can only do something if it throws a code or is duplicated. maybe it's time to switch service dealer.

In that case, I would call PCNA directly and tell them about your issue and tell them that your dealer refuses to seek clarification from them.

Did the spacer / camshaft sensor fixed the problem? My 2013 Cabrio MT is doing this stalling more frequently lately. Is not a using the parking brake as much a "temporary" fix? Please someone who has had this repair and used the cars for a few months, please post experiences. I will post mine when and if car is fixed by dealer; PCNA is aware.

So far so good with my car. No more hesitation when starting.
