If it is I couldn't see myself switching (certainly not within the first two years, but never say never), if I were to upgrade it would either be for a Turbo in a few years from now, or if family dictates it then maybe a Panamera GTS/Turbo.

In the 997 series, the GTS was the LAST iteration of the model line. Ergo, the 991 GTS will likely come at the END of the 991 series, sometime in 2018 or 2019........The refresh will be due in 2016 model year.
