2012-991 8900 miles....how much is it worth?
I have the chance to get into a 2012, 991 blk/blk 991 with 8900 miles. MSRP is 121K. It has all the goodies and then some. Car is mint and looks showroom new. Never titled-driven by dealer. What's the verdict? How much is it worth or would it be better to spec a 2013 and get 5-6% off MSRP?

Is it a S or base? i'd say 90-95 for a S. if base 10 less.

You might check to see if the warranty date is "punched". Was it already started by the dealer previously, if so less time left for the buyer?
When I was shopping, untitled 2012's w/warranty punched could be purchased for around $20K off MSRP with delivery miles only. Shoot for $90K?

Not sure if you're talking about a C2 or C2S.
For reference, I have a 2012 991 C2S that has a similar MSRP and similar miles. I recently asked the dealer for a view on trade-in and they came back at $86k. A friend in the business said he thought my car would retail in the low $90s.

You could always negotiate an extended warranty (7/100k).
The 8900 miles would be the least of my concerns seeing the number of cases that people have reported involving their "new" cars having major issues. All well documented failures, be it with the engine, PDK, coolant loss etc..
I wouldn't have a problem with a car that has been well cared for, to potentially save ~$30K (No money tree in my backyard).
The new car smell is somewhat overrated

Next week I will be discussing a trade in of my 2012 C2S Cab on a factory delivery car next summer. My car had a 130K window sticker. It now has 7,600 miles. Silver/Carrera, blk top, PDK, sport chrono. I'll let you know.....Chris

Nearly 30% off a less than 1 year old 991 makes no sense. That puts it pretty close to the going rate of 997.2s out there. 20% put this car in the mid to upper 90s, which seems a little closer to the market right now. Used 991S model are going for the upper 90s to low 100s depending on options.
We're seeing new (albeit no-option) cars being offered at 15% off (that's not to say what it actually sells at) and you're talking about getting 17% off with 1,200 miles. I don't see what's so unreasonable with a 9k mile car having a trade in value 30% back based on the other numbers being tossed around in this thread.
This always seems to do the trick - what would you pay for it?
