Default Heated Seats in 991

Hi All ,
I was just wondering the effectiveness of Heated seats in 991 from current owners.

In My 987 boxster and Cayman, the heated seats got very toasty but during test drives of 991 , the heated seats did not seem very effective on high setting

Any feedback will be appreciated ?

Thanks

leave it on 3 for a few minutes and you can drive to the burn unit

The heated seats in my 991C2S are a little weak too...

I've found them to be quite good. Not quite as nice as in my BMW, but certainly effective. That said, I'm using them in Northern CA, so it's not like it ever gets crazy cold here. On 3, it gets a bit too hot, so I generally start on 3 and once it warms up (just a couple minutes) I turn it down to 2 or 1.

Seems fine to me. I cooked bacon on mine (or maybe that was just my fat butt sizzling).

Well that's one way to condition the leather.

I'm in Texas where lots of folks wonder why you'd have heated seats at all, but I use mine a lot. They are plenty warm enough for me on the first setting, second notch if I want the heat quicker, haven't used number three yet.

I can't put mine above 1 without burning my buns off, and mine heats up within 1 minute.

Mine are effective and easy to regulate (3 settings). Are you sure you pressed the heat and not the cool button?

Been using mine a lot this winter...no problems at all. If you are getting a cab in Princeton, I would say it is a very nice to have option.

You should also consider a heated steering wheel. It gets down to as low as the teens at night in south eastern Pennsylvania and a warm wheel is a small pleasure in the mornings
