Default New to Porsche and forum

Hello everyone, I've been OBSESSING over 911s for a few years now and finally ordered one back in November, picked it up middle of December and loving life ever since! I've attached a couple of rough iphone 5 pics but IMO doesn't really do it justice. From the very beginning I had decided on white on black with black wheels, the user rijowysock's pics absolutely confirmed it for me, thank you rijowysock.

Anyway just a base carrera for me, SC, PDK, sunroof, PASM, 5mm spacers, base stereo, base wheels, crests in headrests, colored crests on center caps (courtesy of Amazon) just to mention some of the main options. Note - for those of you ordering and want to go with the 19s the PASM and 5mm spacers are a MUST, it really does make for a more aggressive look.

This forum has been invaluable since joining and really helped when ordering the car and deciding the options. Thank you all!

Welcome! Sweet car - I am sure you will enjoy it. As pretty as they look in the garage, there's no substitute for actually getting out and putting miles on it. And get this...they don't melt in the rain. Take care of it, but no need to baby it!

Lots of good info on the forum, don't be shy about asking questions if the search function doesn't give you what you need.

Let the fun begin!

Simply beautiful....did you have the wheels painted or powder coated yourself?

Thanks for the comments everyone! The wheels were powder coated through Park Place Porsche here in Dallas, whoever they went through did an excellent job. I felt like there needed to be a little bit of color just to break up the white/black monotony so went with colored center caps, cheaper off Amazon.

FYI I just broke the 2k break in point over the weekend and punched it a couple of times in normal mode and... ZOOOM, really amazing torque. My buddy has an 07 TT and wasn't expecting it to feel anywhere near as fast but it did "remind" me of his turbo. I'll post some pics of the interior soon...

Oh can anyone recommend what they use to clean and protect the interior, specifically the dash? I see a lot of posts on caring for the exterior but not much for inside. I love the flat black look of the interior and would hate to put anything that glosses it up.

Wow, ordered in November and picked up in December. How 'd pull that off? From what I understand ordering usually takes several months .
