First off, many thanks to Casey Parkin at Porsche of Silver Spring. He was knowledgable and supremely patient the whole way -- a fantastic 911 dream sherpa if ever there was one.
As a few may recall from a previous post, I started out C2S PDK. But as you'll see below, I ended up C2 7MT....this was unexpected.
After a short drive I fell in love with the 3.4 + the involvement of the third pedal. The 3.8 is a beast and I understand why people love it (especially w/PDK), but I eventually concluded it wasn't the best fit for me.
I ended up with a build that's down on power from where I started, perhaps a bit more street than track, and (I hope) a shade more edgy than luxe. Excited to begin learning how to drive a 911 quickly, safely. and manage the car properly.
My last minute changes included swapping the Classic wheels for the Carrera S in platinum, and adding Sport Chrono. I really, really, really dislike the clock...but I didn't want to have the 7MT and miss out on rev-matched downshifts in Sport Plus -- that's going to be fun to play with. I'll get a set of Classic rims + Michelin Alpins in the fall.
Yes, it's black on black -- to me, a timeless sports car look. I'll add some tint and perhaps Xpel when it arrives.
Thanks for the posts and replies along the way RL, April can't come fast enough.

Congrats, sounds beautiful and should be fantastic and fun!
Did you get a build date yet? Waiting is the hardest part, and I'm not sure them giving the ship name at the end is such a good idea if you're obsessive/compulsive (or don't want to have your wife think you are!).

On the latter, I am pretty sure that ship has sailed.
