I ordered my 991S on November 15. It will be produced on Jan. 23. I received an email from my dealer about a week ago that said I was lucky to have ordered before the end of the year and that there would be a 2.6% increase. He also said I was price protected because I ordered prior to Dec. 31.
Is it common place to get a heads up in the US/EU markets? Over here in South Africa the dealership claims that they are completely in the dark with regards to increases and product changes until Germany implement the changes and then issue new instructions.
I am happy for you though, if not a bit jealous
