Hey guys, Happy new Year! Its good to see your starting to modify your 991's with some performance upgrades but make sure to make the right decision. If your thinking about doing some exhaust upgrades, make sure to check out the Fabspeed setup for the 991. Having one of the first 991's in the country, we really took the time and dedication in testing many different designs to find the perfect setup. We developed and tested different size exhaust components and found some remarkable results when using the correct size exhaust tubing and the style of muffler. Depending on if you have the factory PSE option, there are a few different things you can do to get the sound and power you want.

If you don't have the PSE, I would go with our 2.25" X Pipe Center Muffler Bypass and our side maxflo mufflers with Tips. It will give it a more sportier and refined sound and a +10 HP/+15 TQ increase at the top end. But it made even more power in certain areas of the RPM range which was incredible. Check out the gains on the Dyno results below of just the X Pipe upgrade. It made +30 HP and +40 Ft-Lbs. of Torque at the wheels at 4000 RPM, so it seriously made it feel like a different car. It is a simple and easy bolt on replacement that will make a noticeable power and sound improvement. So it will make the car much more fun and exciting to drive.

We also have our competition intake system for the 991 which will make another +6 HP and +5.5 TQ at the wheels. And the most noticeable difference with the intake is the sound improvement inside the car. So when you turn on the sound enhancer feature, it almost sounds like you changed the exhaust on the car. Our Intake ties into the existing sound enhancement line but sounds sportier because we are using a higher flowing intake.

PM me or give me a call if you have any questions and would like to talk about what we can offer for your vehicle. I am also offering some special member pricing for the holidays.
Happy new year and enjoy your cars.

Alex,

Does fabspeed offer any sort of warranty in case there is an engine problem which is derived from the exhaust modification and thus not covered by the porsche factory warranty?

Hi carsrmyvice, sorry for the delay, its been pretty busy here with some new projects. We don't offer that kind of warranty but our exhaust system will not effect the factory warranty in any way as it is just a less restrictive muffler upgrade. It will improve the sound and power by allowing the exhaust gases to exit faster and without effecting Emissions or any other testing. All of Fabspeed products are covered by a lifetime warranty and you can check with your local dealer about performance exhaust upgrades, I'm sure they won't have a problem with it. Let me know if you have any other questions and PM for anything else, I will be glad to provide with customer testimonials that installed our 991 products and for special member pricing
Thanks and Enjoy the car.

Hi trysixty, sorry for the delay but yes our products are all bolt on and the rear bumper does not need to be removed. We include all installation instructions with the products so its nice and easy. Let me know if you have any questions and PM me for special member pricing on any of the products.
Thanks and Enjoy your car .

I had it on my M3 and loved it. I was almost going to order the power kit, but then thought I would just get the Akra, but now thinking the power kit is a better deal, LOLOL.

I've been doing a lot of research and have decided to go local and get the prototech system. Replacing cats with 100 cell, new side mufflers, repiping to center muffler, cold air intake, and ecu remapping. 60 additional horse power with 423 to the rear wheels. 5k installed. Here are the vids of a car they recently did.
