Default Volt Delivered today, 991 911S delivered tomorrow.

I just picked up a 2013 Chevy Volt to pair up with my 2012 991 S. My last three cars were a 530, 550, 750iL. After the 750 there are not many appealing (to me) upscale places to go. So I traded the 750 on the 911 and leased a Volt for winter and 4 seats. I think my motivation was somewhere in the early adopter electronic gizmo realm. It will be a grand experiment for sure. Worst case my 15 year old son can drive himself to school in it.

Porsche delivers tomorrow, Friday. That's what I am really looking forward to.

Great combo....the Volt is a cool vehicle. My wife has made noise about getting one. I had a Prius along w my 997.1... Just sold it and got the Lexus CT200H. Sold my pcar and will be looking for a 991 cab in the near future. A little ying/yang is a good fleet. Enjoy your new cars!!

Good luck on your delivery tomm. You'll love the car. I also have a Prius to throw my dog in. It's nice change when you want to feel environmentally responsible.

Working on pics it was raining yesterday. So far I enjoy both car immensely. My 13 and 15 year old sons are leaning towards the 911 who knew.

I have to say quite a fun couple days. 991 is impressive can't wait to get through the break'in. The volt is also impressive in its way. Very quiet, very smooth very efficient. Pleasing definitely a yang to the Porsches ying. I am hoping to get some photos today.

It was a crappy windy day. I washed the car in the freezing cold and ran it out to snap a couple photos in the sunless sky. Here is one. If the sun ever comes out again I will go some where and get some better shots. I had the windows tinted 20% and a clear bra half way up the hood.

That is such a pretty car and love the wheels Did you go with the black interior as well ? I would also think the Black would look good with some Euro Side Markers.

I did go with the black interior and thanks for the compliments.

Where are the euro markers available, do you have a photo of them on a car (preferably a black car)

ECS Tuning has them, I ordered mine from Braman Porsche online for a bit less. I'm sure your dealer can get them too but sometimes for me it's quicker to go online.
They are just snap fit, no tools needed to swap them out. You can see them on my red car in the BikeRack thread.
