Issue with filling the gas tank..
I have noticed that when I fill up the car with petrol, the auto shutoff valve on the nozzle constantly cuts out. I can almost hear the frothing occur in the fuel tank.
Doesn't matter which station I go to, or how far in (or out) the nozzle is inserted.
A bit of a pain as you're never sure if it's actually full, not to mention the safely issue.
At the last fill-up it cut out 5+ times in quick succession so I assumed it was full - Got in to drive away and it was only 3/4 full.
Anyone observed this?

Complete redesign, and this is still an issue?!

No experience with the 991 but it happens every so often with my 997.2, and other cars that I've owned. FWIW, slowing down the fuel delivery usually allows me to get the tank fully topped up.

Thanks for the responses.
I recall that it was an issue with the 997, but wasn't sure if my 991s was an anomaly or if this was common across the board with this redesign.
It literally does it every 1-2 gallons.
Just checking if it's a venting issue with this car, as opposed to this model.
Thx

Pumping with nozzle upside down fixes the issue on my car.
