This always amuses me. People want change for the sake of change, not any particular aesthetic reason. For example euro 911 owners used to "upgrade" to US-version all-red tail lights; at the same time, US owners were "upgrading" to euro-version red and amber tail lights.

I don't like them. Didn't like them on the 997 either.

Not particularly attractive.. but that's just my humble opinion.

I like clear side markers as the amber ones stick out like a sore thumb to me, but would not go with clear tail lights. It actually looks too plain; IMO tail lights should be red and the red/clear combo of the stock ones look "right".
