Default New 991 4S heavy and slow!

100kg heavier than C2S

0 - 160km per hr is 0.7 secs slower

CO2 247 versus 205g/km

Fuel consumption much higher - 15.8l/100km versus 12.2l/100km

Strangely C4S is 56mm shorter?

But 50mm wider.

Sounds like a comparison of 991 C2S to 997.2 C4S

Check out the web site - unladen is 1510kg versus 1415kg for the PDK

http://www.porsche.com/uk/models/911...turesandspecs/

And see shorter length as well - 4435mm!

The C2S and C4S are identical in terms of length and height with the C4S being 44m wider and 50Kg heavier.

Sidicks

But what about the link I just posted?

Link clearly shows weight difference 95kg?

And length different? I agree length sounds crazy but.....

Your link is for the 997 (note 385hp etc)

(I think the UK configurator is in the process of being updated, so links are being changed - the correct data was shown earlier, hence I was able to confirm the numbers for the 991 C4S.

Such is life on the InterWebz. No harm, no foul -- just some enthusiasm for Porsche's long awaited (overdue?) wide body AWD. : ) Can't really blame folks for raising questions when Porsche on their sites is the source of the misinformation.
