yes I dropped it off at dealer today. I dont know how this stuff comes off the hood but im scared it will leave some sort of residue or they scratch the paint. Just being nervous thats all.

Who was the dealer? Who did you buy from? Hear that Detailing Dynamics is one of the best in LI.

Legend Porsche. Not sure who did the bra I think it was detailing dynamics. I took it back to Legend and they redid the entire hood came out great the 2nd time and you cant tell its there now.
They acknowledged It was not good install and said it could have been a "bad roll". Will post pics as soon as I get some time.
I did get a chance to drive the car out to my house in Montauk labor day weekend car is just amazing, and very comfortable 2 hr drive. I have the base stereo with the HD option it it's extremely good, sounds like the Bang and Olufsen I had in my Audi. Got lots of 2nd looks from many people, car is just so sharp looking in black w carrera classics.

Wow... all of the clear bra work that I have seen from Detailing Dynamics has been perfect. They wrapped the entire front end of my friend's car (full fenders, hood and bumper) and you can't tell it is there unless you have a very very good eye for paint finishes. If it was them, I would certainly say it was an exception to their normal work.

I'm glad it is sorted out now and that you are happy with the final product.

I have a clear bra installed too. Some defects, a hair trapped in the film amd some edge defects. Am taking it back when I'm tired of driving it....well, perhaps in a few weeks instead. It's not a big enough deal for an emergency repair

Same here, I have zero issues with my install. Xpel Ultimate looks perfect, had a guy in Lancaster PA do it, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

That was not Detailing Dynamics Install. We are not affiliated with any dealerships at all.
All our work is completed by us in our shop, and we work directly with the vehicle's owner.

I have the full clear bra on mine -- wouldn't have it any other way. No issues at all. Only one of my 911s did not have the full clear bra, and I quickly regretted it after a couple of bad chips.

I'm glad they took responsibility and did the right thing. But one would think they should have spotted the issue as part of their QA process before they released it to their customer.

ya know, just my 2 cents - paint isn't that expensive - if you don't have any dents or other damage, that is. in the past at least, the Bras caused more trouble than they solved, so I always just planned on a repaint every 5 to 10 years.

Have to agree with William. Did the front bumber cover, edge of hood, and side mirrors using factory paint and it was around $500. Looked like new!

This is a good reason to getting an experienced company to perform the clear bra installation. This came to us to be redone due to the owner being unhappy with two other installers:

I would take it back to the dealer and at least go on record.
