I had my first oil / filter change this past week, and as I was out of town that weekend, I had them do the install of my Passport 8500ci PLUS and laser shifter. Extra protection and security has been nice this week. LOVE IT
Been contemplating adding the Passport!

Your car looks great!

When I got my first Porsche, a 2004 996, I switched from a glossy tire dressing to a satin tire dressing because 1) I like the look better and 2) the satin looks more consistant for the entire duration between washes. I use Wolfgang tire gel.

Picked up my 991S from the dealer after getting a K-40 installed, took it home and put a Porsche trunk liner in it, installed a set of the Weathertech Digital Fit floor liners then put another 100 break-in miles on it

Had to revive this thread...last week I drove both my p-cars in one day: the 993 c2s (see avatar) in Switzerland, and my 991 c2s in NYC on the same day. Sounds ridiculous, I know...but it was fun to know I did it! Chalk it up to another useless milestone!

Does your rear wiper have Washer built in? My sales guy told me 991 doesn't have the spray..

Don't know- I do not have a rear wiper. I have had no issues with rain on the rear window- never have on 911s.

I have not driven it in snow so don't have a sense of how well the rear defroster does. So while I do appreciate that a rear wiper could be useful for getting rid of snow, I don't have winter tires and so won't use it in the snow.

Back to the thread topic. I didn't do .... with my 991 today. It is at the dealer for factory campaigns to correct deficiencies with early build cars and update software.

Day3; 911 at home in my garage …for the third consecutive day there are these droplets of water falling from the sky… I had no choice.

After a lot of deliberating I ordered the PSE instead of going aftermarket.

Drove in the rain to work and loved every minute of it. Stopped at a red light and an awesome looking GTS pulled next to me. Good stuff
