I use it as my daily driver and I still wouldn't get a PDK. Been there, done that. Had a brand new 2009 PDK C4S for a year just to try it out. It is a great automatic transmission. I just like to row my own gears and control the timing of clutch-engagement. Also, during fast canyon driving, I don't have time to look and see what gear I am in. With manual, I always know.

I have always felt the same way I had to wait until the 991 Manual Transmission was available to purchase and then await my best dealer to have an order allocation which is a 2014 My. But the`08 Cayman S with it`s MT will solder on until my 991C2S get here in October. I say it is well that the customer that is spending his money should get their Porsche the way they want it!!

I'd probably be happy with either the PDK or the manual, but I must admit that I'm really enjoying the manual: the rev-matching feature is the icing on the cake.
