Impressive MPG from a sports car....

I'm sorry but when i'm on a road trip and having fun, I enjoy not having to fill my tank up every 300 miles... the fact that our cars are good on gas is never a bad thing especially if your driving it how you want..
my lotus exige supercharged got over 30mpg on the highway, and it had an 9 gallon tank... I dont even want to think about the headache if it was a vette or something with 10mpg highway... would be an annoying drive anywhere/everywhere
yes sports cars should get good mileage by default (aerodynamic and light) but most of them do not... i.e. maserati/aston/bentley/vette/viper/any ferrari/etc...
