The dealer can't change it either,I was there Saturday. Actually the black carpets is a really good idea,I wouldn't want the red,plus they'll get dirty in a few days...
But I just can't get over that black boot with the beautiful red natural leather. And like it's been mentioned before here,red and black go well together,but imagine other colors...

Besides, if you want it to match the seats, just say so. You don't have to make the configurator agree. A lot of what you're talking about are 'X' options anyway. That means they've already pulled the unit into the Exclusive department. A red shift boot doesn't begin to stretch their abilities.

I can't say about the boot, because I have PDK, but with natural espresso leather, the shift-grip leather is the same espresso and the leather on the edges of the console is espresso also. I would expect the boot on a manual to be treated the same way.
Besides, if you want it to match the seats, just say so. You don't have to make the configurator agree. A lot of what you're talking about are 'X' options anyway. That means they've already pulled the unit into the Exclusive department. A red shift boot doesn't begin to stretch their abilities.

I had a gray Audi S5 cab with red/black interior and red top that I got more complements on than any car I have ever owned, including 6 Ferraris and a 993. The only reason I got rid of it was because I grew tired of the floppy paddle DGS gearbox for my daily driver.
