Only on track days, you would want to use lower cold pressures because they would heat up much faster and much more if you’re using ambient air.
I'm so sure that the majority of the drivers on this forum can tell the difference between 1psi in their tires. Oiy.

What's the accuracy of the air pressure gauge you use to put air in your tires? 5%? 10%? When was it last calibrated?
