You'll get over it. Now go ahead and order one. Or are you waiting for the 991 turbo?

lol. i think the engine should be visible as well, but from the engine shots looks like they are trying to increase the temperature in the engine bay, i've heard before if you increase the engine bay temps it increases gas mileage and also helps a few other things... looks like they want this route as the only airflow into the new engine bay is the intake...

Actually what I heard is something to the effect 'they don't want you messing with it'. Hopefully it will be so reliable that nothing ever goes wrong requiring a look at the engine...

I agree. But, they probably did that to keep ignorant people like me out. I still can't find the 997 dip stick!!!

its appears like the fan housing has to be removed to access the engine. Simple DIY's like oil changes just got harder. Dealers will start charging like $500/ oil change. "2.5hrs of labor to remove and install Fan housing." Great.

What if you could LIFT the spoiler up for better access? I think that must be possible somehow!

modern engines are designed to run hotter... better emissions and gas mileage.

Does anyone have a pic of how that wing will deploy? Seems to be a big wing.

That's what it says to me. "This is all you need to see. If you saw more you wouldn't know what to do with it anyway".
