power steering plus?

We have added it to all of our 997's for the most part. You will not notice it at speeds of over 30mph and said above. It does however, make it easier to turn the wheel when parking or trying to do a 3 point turn. My experiences are that most clients are going to prefere this as it will not hinder the drive experience. Consider it power steering plus for parking lots

Same goes for power folding mirrors. Porsche made a big deal about the mirrors now being on the doors instead of the A-pillars and how much better it looks. When i see folding mirrors i think Mercedes S-Class not Porsche and certainly not 911.
Those are two options I suggest NOT be ordered.

Servotronic produces a different effect than does Power Steering Plus.
If you spec your 911 out like a luxury car and compare it to say an SL then you might like the Power Steering Plus.
If you're like me and consider a sports car A SPORTS CAR then you're best without the PS+.

Agree 3500 miles and 2 track events and glad I have it. Drove similar SPASM cars with and without before ordering and decided I liked it with SPASM. I also have wider track from Techno Wheels so maybe that makes a difference. Who knows for sure? Personal decision, I think.

still not a fan of servo... you like the feeling of a feather light wheel under 30mph? i could turn the wheel with my pinky w/o it.. not sure why it would be needed on a rear engine car..

Servo is too light and artificial for my taste ,,, I test drove it before finalizing my order and opted not to order...not worthy of sports car in my humble opinion...

I think the car's better without it

^^^ If someone needs to fold their mirrors to walk between his and the next car, then he is parked too close and that should NEVER happen with a Porsche, ergo, no need for folding mirrors.
