Insideline on the 991s
#16
i think those who want performance and excellent driving feedback will have to wait unitl mid 2012 when 991 gt3 will be introduced.
i think it is a smart move porsche does - they will put more and more electronics into street cars to make 'regular' drivers better and safer. those who know how to drive of course will not like it.
i just hope gt3 car will not have most of this crap. if it will - well, then 997.2 gt3 rs will become even more expensive on a used car market.

The only reason that I am considering a 991S is the GT3-RS I wanted to order is not being built anymore. Apparently a few months too late on my part. However from what I understand the GT-3 cars may in 2013-2014. Porsche goes through the line and release the next type. Cabs - C4 - C4S - C4S cabs - Targa - Targa C4 - GTS - GTS cab - GTS 4 - Turbo - Turbo cab - Turbo S - Turbo S cab - then the GT cars. So having these styles ready to go and release the GT-3 in 2012 - kind of doubtful IMO.
Think of sticking with the CS then in a few years buy a used 2011 GT3-RS. I am sure there will be some that haven't been abused still available.
10 BMW M5
10 Cayenne GTS
78 930 (heavily modified)
