IYO.......

I think it sounds great the way it is, and would not want it to be any louder.

IMO.......

That would be ideal world for me: PSE on/off option but with a raspier "on" than standard PSE on switch.F
As always with color and sound....to each his own. To my own, I think way too much is made of the on/off option thing on other than stock exhaust. Someone uninitiated reading these threads must think an aftermarket exhaust without a mute button will wake the dead. I've had Tubi on both a 997.1 and a 997.2 now with no on/off option and still haven't made any enemies in my neighborhood which houses quiet a few old timers. Everyone still waves and a couple of them ask me to to "revv harder" since they love the sound.

Summed up: Tubi is almost stock quiet below 3,000 rpm so it's easy to sneak in or out without bothering anyone. With no on/off buttons involved.

I'm thinking I would like to have the "off" option available for longer highway trips. Daily driving, I'm sure it would stay "on" most of the time - nice to have the option.

I guess the on/off option is cool but so far I'm leaving it on/open all the time because PSE is really not loud at all when open.

Tubi under full throttle has more howl and growl but at cruising speeds and highway speeds and idle Tubi is quieter than PSE..even with the Sharkwerks rear muffler by pass.

Make sure to also check out the Fabspeed X Pipe for the 997.2 which will wake up the sound with the stock or PSE mufflers. It will also increase HP and TQ because of the X Pipe so the exhaust gases will get out of the car faster. It also produces a more unique sound due the full radius U bend talk Pipe. Let me know if you have any questions and we have them in stock and ready if anyone's interested.
thanks,

I have PSE on my new GTS and am very pleased with the sound. Not quite as nice as my previous GT3 but enough to make the neighbor come over to express his appreciation. I haven't compared other systems but I'm satisfied for now. Distinctive and a nice burble at idle.
