Don't think bigger is better... even my GT3 looks big next to my son's 993...

It's fugly! What a horrible proportion. That headlight gotta go.

If the design stay then Porsche copy Ferrari and went ugly with their new car

I don't mind the look, still very 911ish, just a question of what it will feel like when driving it.
15 HP more than the current S is pretty lame, even with a modest weight reduction. I don not think Porsche will knock ours socks off with the GT3's HP. It'll probably come in between 465-475 and 75 - 90 lbs less.

I need to see a less camo-ed car before I pass judgement. I kind of like the door mounted mirrors although I am not quite awake yet either.

Probably, but shouldn't really be necessary - the water-cooled turbos have always been built in large enough numbers (at least equal to demand).

I'm hoping that the new 7 speed manual in the GT3 is used to make the ratios lower and closer (instead of just tacking on a cruising gear like it will with the Carrera). That will add significant track performance if they do.

Well Porsche managed to make the Panamera feel "small" when driving it. Don't why the 991 would be any different. Just hope the 911 model after the 991 isn't as big as the 'Mera.

Anything feels small and dark when you are driving with a paper bag covering your head. : )

I'll be very curious to see how much of the 4" wheelbase gain went to moving the engine/transmission lump forward vs how much went to expanding the cabin. If it's all the former then I suspect we're money good. Regardless, I trust they'll find a way to make the next GT3 faster.

I like it, but we won't see a GT3 version for a few years most likely.

I'd be surprised if it makes any more bhp than the current 3's 3.8's ... we'll have to wait for the 991 cup car to see what they can do with the 9A1
