Default Looking for some "interior" design advice

My car is white with red seatbelts and carbon fibre dash and centre console trim but I'm looking to add some sophisticated personality to the interior of my 991.1 C2S.
I have always had a soft spot for the Pepita interiors of the special 911 models. I recently saw that "CarBone" has houndstooth fabric wrapped foam pads that adhere to the door cards.
#1- Does this look contrived or "Ricey" by only doing the door cards and not the seats?
#2- Does it cheapen the special editions and heritage models that come with it?

I think you need the seats to match.

1- yes. with the seats? also yes.
2- no, lol.

Keep the stock anything you're replacing in case you ever sell the car. I certainly can't be the only one who closes an ad when I see things like coco mats or any other houndstooth patterning.

I agree LOL but my pockets aren't deep enough to justify carbon buckets with removable inserts let alone the back seats aswell.

Pepita is the new reminds me of old, new again but getting old. If you are after the cool old, hell ya new, go for Pasha. And the fun part is Porsche is reproducing all the vintage fabrics for restorations or just plan fun. Pasha for the win.

CarBone has Pasha aswell and definitely looks cool. But I’d still probably have to get in on the seats so it doesn’t look incomplete?

Default if I was doing

A full singer resto mod with ducktail and other back dates ...maybe ? I think I would probably opt for the singer style tufted seats though and cover the panels in alacantra. To me the pepta cars that look ok are all changed including bodywork.
