Default CAB top storage

I have never owned one, until now...is there an issue keeping it 'open' or do most of you close the top when you can i.e when its in your garage?

95 percent of the time I park it closed. These tops are known for developing creases in the fabric and parking it closed helps keep the fabric straight. It also keeps the interior cleaner.

I’ve used RaggTopp products for years. I’m happy with the results. For regular washes, I typically just rinse rhe top with water, paying attention to the seams in particular. If there’s soil on the top then I use mild carwash soap.

I’ve always parked it closed and yes, to keep the crease to minimal.
Porsche and Griot’s Garage convertible cleaner and sealer are what I have used.
The car is also covered if it’s in the garage so the top repell liquid very well.

You also have to consider pests, rodents, spiders, etc getting in and doing whatever they do . . .

Also, avoid using body cleaning chemicals on the fabric roof as much as you can, they are not kind to the roof and will stain/affect it. Best use rinse only and use a dedicated hood cleaner/conditioning product as needed.
