Angry Install B16 Bilstein PASM for 911 991 Non PASM

I own a 911 991 but unfortunately my car only has PADM without PASM, the question is, can I install B16 Bilstein shock absorbers with PASM system (without using the electric part) Is it possible, and how effective is the analysis?

They will always be on the stiffest damping setting if you do not connect the electronics

I have read the circuit diagram and the sensor and control box parameters of PADM and PASM are almost the same.
The right side is where the shock absorber sensor valve is plugged in.

Is it going to be very bumpy, only suitable for the track?

Can you add an aftermarket PASM unit in combination with the B16? Not sure if anything needs coding if you don’t have PASM from factory?

Long story short. I purchased a 991.1 with B16 PASM coil overs, I was at my wits end on trying to soften up the ride...until I finally bit the bullet and got a DSC controller. It's an absolute must with the B16's. You cannot buy softer springs for these either. I was about to send them to Bilstein to have them worked on for about $1200 because they seemed like they were bunk and not working.

i bought the ECu control box with Pasm support, and studied the circuit boards along with the sensor systems and compared with the previous generation. i think it will work, because on the control box there are only 8 lift control wires for the angle reduction, corresponding to 4 shock absorbers. i will update the results after completion.

Generally,IMO, the DSC controller is wonderful. It really captures more range of the OEM shocks.

Genuinely interested in your findings, good luck!
