10MPG in S+, 991.1S, normal?

I drive in Sport plus all the time.
I own a manual 991.1 C2S with Sport Chrono.
Three reasons (in no particular order):
1. Rev matching is only available in S+
2. Clutch behavior is different and allows for faster shifts when driving spiritedly. I find regular shifts to also be smoother as it allows for a shorter amount of time in the bite point.
3. Engine sound is different (my car has PSE). More pops and burbles when letting off the gas, even at 2k RPM. I enjoy the sound. I bought a 911 with a 3.8L NA Flat 6 because I value engine and exhaust sound.
I don't typically drive just in Sport so it's possible some of this behavior applies to Sport mode instead of exclusively to Sport Plus (obviously not the rev matching). These comparisons are really more for Normal versus Sport Plus.

I don't drive mine much but when I do, I use S+ all the time around town. I also drive my C8 in track mode around town, why not? These cars are doing what they are designed to do....
