GTS or Carrera T.....
#32
At this stage of the game with both models being at least 5 years old it would come down to how each were optioned. Oddly enough, that does not mean each car would be optioned the same. I love the "stripper" vibe of the T. My car has RAS, Bose, and little else (standard 4-way Sport Seats Plus with rear seats). Perfection in T-land for me would be the exact same car with PCCBs.
My "perfect" GTS would be rear drive, also optioned with RAS and stereo upgrade (Did someone say Burmeister?) and PCCBs. It would also have the full-leather/Race-tex GTS interior as well as some of the leather options Porsche likes to offer (steering column and extended dash board for example). Why? Because for me the GTS has a more "black-tie" persona than the down and dirty T.
Lots of flavours of ice cream, we all have our own favourites.

Here is some performance info in case you are wondering. I won’t get into the GTS vs T debate. Lots of info was presented. I think a potential buyer should drive both and decide. If you are not sure then buy nothing.

More collectible? First, WTF do you care? These aren't investments, the bland S&P 500 is up 320% since the 991 launched. Please point me to the $320k 991. :-D (Limited edition Ferrari's don't keep up with the S&P 500, Carrera 911s have no chance.)
Pick what you love driving and enjoy the car. Or buy a Miata (nothing wrong with that!) and VOO and enjoy having more money in 10 years.

C2, C2S, T, GTS…are all brilliant to drive and no longer available as anything other than used cars, so I'd value spec & condition over model variant. Miles would matter too, but less so if it's been driven well and maintained well.

And well driven instead of rev'd to redline 10 seconds after a start was important to me. As someone who flew for a living, you tend to respect your engine because they are kind of important. I was glad to buy a used GTS with only 98 miles on it. I got to break it in...properly, warming up the coolant and oils till the system was at operating temperature before the revs were brought up over ~3.5K
