Default Typical 0-60 time for a 991.2 with a tune?

I think my tune is weak.

I'm getting 3.55 seconds with fresh Michelin Pilot Sport.

My car is a PDK C2S with OEM sports exhaust and Cobb 1.06 tune. Tires are low mileage Michelin Pilot Sport K3. The run was a regular road surface.

c2? c4? base, S, or GTS?

regardless, sounds about right to me. lots of factors in 0-60. you'll see as low at 3.0 and as high as over 4 seconds quoted for stock 991.2s.

this one is an apr tune and it says 3.2 or so on their best run ---> https://rennlist.com/forums/991/1175...e-dragy-2.html

Also, manual or PDK? I have a manual which I wouldn't trade for a PDK but I'm sure that the PDK shifts faster than me. It says so in the literature too

My buddy's Tesla is sub 3.0 0-60... maybe time to change cars?

He also has a huge back seat and really comfortable seats, especially for long cruising.

Good point re the weak tune - maybe set up so can have more overboost time on the turbos? Swap out injectors for better fuel flow? A completely new, custom exhaust for better flow? Maybe tune for more alcohol?

OK, I'll stop - just kidding :-)

All of the above factors would be needed to pass any kind of judgement. PDK is much more likely to post consistently low 0-60 times and will always be considerably quicker than an otherwise equivalent manual equipped car. In all honesty, I feel this measurement is becoming less and less relevant. The number of cars that achieve this benchmark in the low 3 second range is truly staggering. 0-100MPH, 1/4 mile, 1/4 mile trap speed, and standing KM are numbers that give a more indicative measurement of a car's straight line performance.

Straight line speed bragging rights belong largely to EV's these days (more than just Tesla). Also, we entered into frankly silly acceleration times several years ago.

Did I just say that? Damn....must be getting old. Hang on while I turn down the stereo to park.....damn thing is too loud anyway.

@timothymoffat

AGREE. I think 60-130 times are more representative of the power a car makes, and removes traction/hookup from the equation in most cases.

Some people don't need a 911--or any sports/GT car.

Surface type?
Surface temperature?
Tire temperature?
Tire pressure?
Air temperature?
Were the intercoolers heat soaked or not?
Oil and coolant temperatures?
Elevation?
How much do you weigh?
