I've got a set on my 2012 C2S. Love them! The sound is fantastic. I had guys coming up to me on a track day telling my how great my car sounds (I have PSE). No drone at all.

I love mine! Installed 4 weeks ago with existing PSE
Big difference in sound and throttle response.

I don't have soul headers, but I do have another well regarded brand, and I can tell you that this is the best power mod for our N/A motors. Sounds and Power are A++

When selling exhaust, even better than pics are videos with properly recorded audio (spend $40 on a decent external mic). Would be great to have a sampling of several options. Even better would be dB readings taken at the same distance, so people can get an idea of how much louder than stock it is.

So compared to the factory PSE. How do the headers sound in normal mode (vs PSE normal) and opened vs PSE open?
I'm guessing Soul closed sounds deeper and meaner closed and next to ridiculous fantastic when open?

Yeah, that pretty much sums it up. I think the main thing is the car sounds good, not stupid loud. It's the quality of the music, not just the volume.

You can NOT buy a better set of headers for the 991.1 NA's.....I have a set with the valved exhaust and you can feel the power difference especially in the mid range and top end but more importantly the sound is truly amazing. Every one I go on drives with say I have the best sounding 911......highly recommend them!

I have a .1 3.4 with Soul headers, 200 cel cats, and valved exhaust.

I don’t know if I noticed much performance gain, but the sound is intoxicating.
There is a little buzziness between 3 and 4k RPM’s that I quickly got used to and learned how to avoid when I want.

Its loud when the sport exhaust is active and very livable when it’s not. Just a little deeper note.

Shortly after I had it installed I heard some young girls scream and saw them jump when I started it near them.
It has quite a bark on cold start, and yes, the timing was deliberate… I kinda felt bad after that and I tend to make sure no one is standing too close when I start it cold. Once it comes out of high idle it’s nearly as quiet as stock with the PSE off.

I’d definitely install it again…

I have the 3.8 C2S and you can certainly feel the midrange & top end in mine at least when compared to the stock exhaust.

CT Dan - can you please post a video or sound clip, both normal and sport.... I too have the .1 3.4 and love it with PSE, but hearing yours may start that slippery slope.....

I so want these, just the price keeps going up. I have to remember to check the marketplace more often and hope I get lucky... this is probably the last big mod I want to do. (unless I go down the .2 steering wheel upgrade path)

I was definitely concerned with the cost too.

I ordered the headers in early winter with the intention of having a fun spring project.

After all said and done, although everything wasn’t simple, (mostly seized O2 sensor), so happy I did it.

Like most projects, you learn a lot along the way, and if had to do it again, could probably do it in about 25% of the time. I really took my time and wanted to make sure everything was done perfectly.

Such an awesome upgrade. Every time I hit 4000 RPMs and above, I get a huge grin on my face.
The sound is great, but you can definitely feel the increase in throttle response and power.

Even when it’s cold, I crack the windows and leave the roof open a little bit. It makes it that much better. 😎
