My 2018 C2S has the P3P sport package that should come with rear axle steering but I’m trying to see if it’s actually working. When I park my car and do a full steering lock to the left, I expect the rear axle to have also moved in the opposite direction. To me, it looks perfectly straight. Is this expected? I’ve been wondering this now that it’s cold and wet as my wheels hop a lot when doing parking maneuvers due to the wheel alignment design defect I’ve heard about. At full lock, the wheels aren’t pointing at the same angle.
If my RAS wasn’t working, would it be obvious via some faults thrown on the infotainment?

From my experience, the additional steering angle from RAS is minimal and not visible in an obvious way when parked, but enough to be effective while driving. I only know this because i tried to do the same thing when i first got the car. :-)

The RAS has feedback, so if it wasn't working you'd be getting a lot of MFD errors. As far as I remember, it does not function while in park. It might while in Drive with the parking brake off, though. It might also wait until you're actually moving, but this seems like it would create odd feelings when parallel parking.
Unfortunately I do not own my 991.2 with RAS anymore, else I'd go check for you.![Frown](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/frown.gif)
I do recall testing my RAS via a shop tablet, there's a specific actuation test you can perform, and it's extremely obvious whether or not it's working as it runs it to full lock and back.

When I reverse my RH mirror dips and while backing up I can see the RAS work in the RH dipped mirror.

You can see it when parked, but it is a very, very tiny movement, only a few millimeters. Try turning from one extreme end of steering lock to the other, taking photos of the car down the side each time, and you will notice a very slight change in the position of the front of the rear tires compared to the wheel well edge.

Find a buddy, some open space in a parking lot and do some full lock low speed circles and have them film. You should see a few degrees of turn in the rear wheels. (its nothing drastic)

It works when moving at low speeds and higher speeds. Drive in a parking lot and do some turns while keeping an eye on the back wheels and you will notice it. You can also try to back up and parallel park and you will see it.
