Default Removing logos from doors

I've got a 2017 C2S that has the "911 Carrera S" logo in black on the bottom of the doors. Since I've modified it somewhat and will be modifying it more, it's no longer really just an S (yes, yes, specious argument, I know). Anyway, I'm thinking about removing the logos from the doors.

That brings me to some questions:
1. Anyone know what they're made of and how they are attached - are they vinyl logos attached with some removable glue? Are they painted on? Something else?
2. Assuming you can remove them, how likely is it that the paint will have faded and will leave "ghost" writing on the door? The car has been ceramic coated since it was about a year old.

You can remove them with a finger nail or like softer object. And yes there will be ghosting but you should be able to buff that out. They are made of vinyl. Im thinking of hair dryer and a finger nail and they should peel right off.

This works well on adhesive residue if there is any leftover after removing the stickers.

A ghost image if the script might be kinda cool if it’s subtle enough.

A little heat and a little Tar remover will get you sorted.

Use something to warm the vinyl/sticker…steam desirable but hair dryer will work also

gently peel an edge with fingernail and pull

if any adhesive left behind, CarPro TarX will do the trick

Thanks all. That makes sense. My one concern is whether I'll see anything more severe as a result of it being ceramic-coated with the stickers on. I guess I can (and will) ask the people who put the ceramic coat on it in the first instance to touch it up if necessary after removal.

Just mocked it up to see what the difference looks like. To de-logo or not to de-logo, that is the question ...

De logo! It's a cheap looking decal.

My Carrera S did not have the sticker on doors when I got it, so when I was showing it to a friend for the first time he opened the door and said ” Oh man you got an S” get the door decals, and I did but to be honest im not really happy so they are coming off, I prefer the clean look, the rear only has 911. I know is an S if someone wants to know they can ask. JMO
