Default DSC V3 991.1 TTS or GT3 Touring Files needed

Hi all, I just received a DSC V3 used from someone on the forums and it originally came off a TTS and he installed it on a 981. That's the current file on it so I need a 991.1 TTS file if anyone has one they wouldn't mind sharing. My wife used to have a 991.1 GTS that we put a DSC in it and I had loaded the GT3 Touring file on it and it rode great, I just can't seem to locate it on my computer anymore.... If anyone would like to share the touring file with me I would greatly appreciate that too!

I've been waiting to pull the trigger on one of these for a while now and couldn't pass it up, super excited to see how/if it rides better with the DSC and Techart springs currently installed.

PM me for email address.

Thanks in advance!

Is the TTS much different than the GT3 touring file?

Haven’t seen info regarding comparison.

PM sent

Did DSC lock these down on their website? I can no longer find them.

Are you sure you don't want the latest RS calibration file?

PM me and I can send it to you via email (I can't upload the file).
It does look like calibration files aren't available on DSC website anymore

Sorry been super busy and have not had time to respond. I have the Touring and RS files if anyone needs them. Just send me a DM with your email and I'll send it over.

From what I understand, your DSC controller has to be from January ‘21 or newer in order to support the RS file

I bought a controller here on RL a few months back and haven't really gotten time to play with any of the programming. It looks like from the label, it's pretty old. Does this indicate it was made in 2018? Is it even a V3?? (thought it was sold as such)

What's the best way to figure out the latest config file for this unit and from where should I acquire it? I don't know where it was originally purchased but when I asked about DSC versions directly with their support, they were pretty clear that there's no "support" for second hand controllers. I'm not sure if this is considered support or not.

Speaking for OP (DCsTTS) since he's been busy: Appreciate everyone's help getting the files I needed. I think I'm covered now. I'll reply to the PM's as soon as possible!

I recall registering my DSC controller, then afterwards I was given a link to download the files.

Even then the link is down. Just ping Tom over at TPC and he can get you the file you need.

I can't blame them for taking it down I'm sure people were installing the files on non-compatible DSC Controllers and causing them support issues.

Just FYI, TPC Racing/DSC Sport is moving from their old shop to a much larger and brand new facility (designed by Mike L.) throughout the month of December. I did talk to Tom a week or so ago, but they have their hands full now, so be patient. They hope to be up and running at full speed the first week of Jan.

Mike gave me a tour of the new place a few weeks ago, and it is magnificent.

I understand that TPC only likes to support original purchasers and HATE 2nd hand consumers of their products, which I totally understand from a customer support cost perspective.

I know some companies just charge a nominal fee for support as a 2nd hand buyer. They should offer this.

I'm in tech and work with our support organization so I definitely feel this. However, providing existing non-custom config files is a low effort thing that could be easily provided without load on their support team/individual. Making second hand devices essentially dead ends is a great way to devalue the product. Given the demand x supply this last couple of years I can see why they don't feel the need to increase the value of their product for secondary buyers but this kind of thing does leave a bad taste in my mouth.

Human support for novel issues, usage, installation, customization - 100% high value and I can see why this applies only to original owner. They need to scale the business and that part is more than reasonable.
