running errands, no issues, almost home and this warnings came on, made it home ,,coolant dripping from under where fill nozzle is..not sure what to do. Might this be a change over valve issue? advice appreciated.

 

Under the gas fill nozzle? Sounds like either the right front corner radiator is leaking or the coolant tube going to it.

 

no, where U add coolant in rear, next to oil fill.

 

Check the threads on the failed water pump and coolant in the vacuum lines. There should be an extended warranty on it if I remember right.

 

Let engine cool down to at least 140F. Open coolant cap. Check level. Add if needed. Check under the car in that region and look for pink crusty stuff. You could clean that crusty stuff off if it’s there and see if it reappears. The coolant tank will purge coolant sometimes since it’s a pressurized system but that’s unexpected unless you recently had that topped off. Keep us posted. Best to you!

If this reappears contact Porsche service department and schedule an appointment since the 17 had the water pump and I believe the valve block warranty extended.

 

pump/valve block replaced under warranty few years ago...pump looks ok but its leaking where the expansion tank should be....faulty thermostat?...lately i have been hearingwater rushing noises while inside car. engine hot/pullover went off 3x this week but disappeared after a few seconds and water temp showed normal

 

I had the coolant overflow tank replaced, under warrant, on my 2012 C2S. The tank had a crack in it.

 

did ur car overheat or just leak coolant?
