Default New Tires and one flat.

Just had new tires installed less than fifty miles ago. Go out this morning right front tire is reading 15LBS What the hell l start looking and find a screw right in the center of the tire. Is this something to worry about after I have it fixed?

Did you get road hazard? This is horrible luck.

I've had my rears patched a few times and as long as it's not in a sidewall I don't worry too much.

No road hazard insurance. If it wasn't for bad luck I would have no luck at all.

As mentioned above, patch it from the inside and you are good to go.

Patch is as good as new. Stay away from a plug, if anyone still does that anymore.

Patching is certainly better, but nothing wrong with plugging for street use. Track, patch only, no plug.

Agreed. Daily driving? Plugs are just fine. I got a set of Pirelli's on our 3rd car, Infiniti M37X, that I picked up a screw in the first week I put the tires on. Plugged it when I got home. That was at least 25k miles ago.

You may find that most Shops, Dealerships, etc. will not plug or patch a high performance speed rated tire. Folks get upset about this but the liability issue is present and this is not a new situation, it has been in place in many States and Automotive Franchises for well over a decade. Good luck and hopefully you can patch, but if you plan to track , just skip and get a new tire, imho.

That's kind of what I was thinking it sucks only having Fifty miles on the tire. I can tell you what it feels like to blow a right front tire turning left at 140 mph. Not a good day for me worse day for the car.
