Default 991.2 Steering Wheel Parts

Hi,

Does anyone know the part number and where can I source silver trim insert for 991.2 Sport Steering Wheel? The silver part in the picture with blue arrows. Just the left side of the Steering Wheel. And is it difficult to replace the silver part? Does it require removing the Steering Wheel? Thanks.

Check with Suncoast if they’ll sell the single piece you need. I know they sell complete sets of these. You will have to remove the steering wheel and disassemble it to get to this part. It’s not difficult to do.

Here is a thread that talks about replacing those...to some extent. I got brave (or stupid) and tried to take mine off (see post #16) and the fun began. I will say this was circa 2017 so availability was a challenge and probably not the case now. Here is the thread, I am subscribed...

There is an ebay seller that goes by the name of 911ava that sells take-off parts. You might want to try and reach him and ask.

Steering wheel does need to come off so you pop the part out from the steering wheel trim assembly.

No 2 ways about it.
