Hey everyone,
my new to me 911t seems way to fast to simply be a cat delete and custom tune. I had the car torn apart for service recently and besides the ams dry filter and soul pipes everything looks oem.
I'm curious tho if maybe it has a apr kit on it, with oem gts turbos. Does anyone know how to identify them?
raced my buddies 991.2 gt3 RS with a dundon power kit on it 3 times on the highway, and I pulled him pretty bad each time at different speeds

You would need to pull the inlet tube and snap a pic of the compressor blade then compare to a gts blade. My guess is it’s the base turbo tuned to around 75-100 hp more than stock. It should pull on a gt3 pretty easily until the gt3 gets well into the 3 digit speeds.

APR 93 oct tune on a stock car is ~475hp crank. With your additional mods, you're probably close to 500hp crank, or about the same as the GT3. But, you have waaaaaaay more torque down low. He's probably not making more power than you until he's at past 7500 rpms. You'll pull him every time.

I have a 991.2 2S with Softronic tune, Soul cats and headers etc. I have no problem with keeping up or, as you have experienced, even passing GT3’s on the track. On a straight that is. In corners … different story.

Interesting. Thanks for the info. Now I know what to expect from 991.2 base with software tune
