Default Voice activated GPS

What is the first year for voice activated GPS, I know that our 2019 Macan had it...but when does it start on 911's?

I have it in my 2017 S. Not the easiest to operate but better than trying to type in addresses. Used it for the first time yesterday after 18 months of ownership.

I had it on my 14. I think it is called voice control or something like that. It is an add-on option so many cars won't have it.

I have voice control on my 2013 but I have never used it. I just say ok google and my android auto does the rest.

Do you mean like a "retro-fit" option?

If so, is it software only? or hardware along with software?

more importantly, is it useful enough to justify the cost of retro-fitting?

TIA

I have it on my 15 Turbo S, not very user friendly and for me easier to just type it into the GPS.

If you have the Voice Control option and CarPlay, it gets more useful. On my 2019 I can press and hold the voice button for 3 seconds and it switches over to Siri and CarPlay. I can then say "Hey Siri, navigate to XXXX using Waze". Doing that on the fly is nice.

Any other function(s) that can be voice controlled? Audio? climate control? Sport-chrono ?

That's awesome but mine is 2014 with PCM 3.1 unfortunately.
