Default 991.1 C2 Non-PASM Suspension - Help!

Hi RLers -

I'm going to swap out my 991.1 Base non-pasm springs next week to help with the unsightly wheel gap with the current stance. I've found very little info searching through old threads on the topic. I'm planning to install Eibach springs on the car.

Can anyone help confirm the following?

1. Is there any difference between the spring seats between C2/C2S and pasm/non-pasm cars? I don't want to get surprised if the Eibach springs don't fit.
2. Do non-pasm cars have the adjustable rear spring perches? I'm assuming no from looking under the car, but hard to tell.
3. Will the non-pasm shocks be overwhelmed by the upgraded spring rates?

Here's how my car looks today...any help would be appreciated!

Would be good chance to replace the dampers while you’re in there, even if with OEM parts, your car may be due for new ones because of time even if mileage is low. The OEM dampers won’t be overwhelmed, but there may be some porpoising/bouncing over bumps with aftermarket springs that wouldn’t occur with stock springs in place. Overall, most people looking for lower ride height with their street car will never push it to a limit that it matters. It doesn’t seem like this is your track car, so I would not worry about it. Just get an alignment after and enjoy.

Yes, definitely not a track car by any means. This is my daily, kid hauler 😅

Goal is purely appearance.

Have you thought about H&R springs?

@Ark20 That looks great. Are you running spacers? How’s the ride of the springs?

Thank you. On that particular day I was not running spacers but I do have them on currently. The previous owner had the H&R springs installed so I don’t have a comparison with factory springs however I recently installed coilovers and feel the springs were better for day to day. I have not found that sweet spot with coilovers yet though. I did an autocross event and a HPDE event with them and they were fine at my skill level (novice). I want to do more HPDEs and moved to coilovers since I have read that the springs give the floaty feeling. Anyways now they are up for sale. Just haven’t had time to take photos and post it in the market place. With the springs a rough measurement from ground through middle of wheel to fender was 27 inches in the front and 27.625 in the rear.

Thanks @Ark20 - measurements are super helpful. I’m at 28.5ish currently front and rear.

And the result…Eibach springs. Front lowered 1 1/4” and rear 3/4”.

@99SevenFan did you ever get the answer to this?

"2. Do non-pasm cars have the adjustable rear spring perches? I'm assuming no from looking under the car, but hard to tell."

I was wondering the same thing as I plan to have techart springs installed in a couple weeks on my C2S.

Techart Springs paired with the awesome DSC controller. Looks and handles much better. Also, it rides just as smooth as my Acura daily driver now ...even with the stiffer lowering springs.
