Default 991.2 GTS Remap options UK

Hi All,

I am considering a remap in the spring for my late 2018 GTS 4.
Litchfield are quoting 535bhp but DMS are way up at 570bhp claimed.
Has anyone had any real world experiences with remaps on these cars and who did you use?

TIA

Is the car under warranty?

I would go to 9e in Crawley personally, but Litchfield would be a credible choice too. My personal reservation is that they aren’t a Porsche specialist though and that does matter - had a good friend with a Litchfield map on his RS6 and it has a zero torque limit in reverse which made it behave weirdly, with the Litchfield map on my tuned F80 M3 would hang with it, when that was removed and an MRC map put on my M3 wouldn’t hang with it any more.

DMS numbers are nonsense IMO

My car been 9e tuned for 2.5 years and no issues, definitely some happy Litchfield customers on here too, APR would be another option for me - if you read their dev process it is really a solid engineering approach - more conservative than some perhaps but safe?

Looking at your google reviews you seem to have had an issue with half the Porsche specialists in the UK :-/

Knowing their side of that particular story I stand by my recommendation but obviously you are entitled to a different opinion

True, most the UK "specialists" are tripe. 9e missold me an exhaust system, blamed other components
Much better service in Gemany IMO.

I’m gonna leave it there, anyone seriously interested in mapping a Porsche in the UK would be advised to read their reviews and at least call them. Fast, reliable cars.

No beef with you, Nathan. There's good and bad experience with most.
