Hi All,
Never had one, but after many years of wrenching - AND - the large number of fasteners on the 911's bumper cover, etc - it seems like a good time.
Lots of reviews, but they're a moving target!
What do you guys like?
Thanks!

Assuming you're going cordless vs corded or pneumatic, it is really about what battery system you have or want to commit to. I'm invested in the Milwaukee system, so that is my choice, but if you are starting from scratch you might want to think about what other products you will want down the road before you choose. Basically they will all work fine, but some are nicer to the hand than others.

Haha that was exactly the same reason that drove me to get one too a couple of years ago. I went with the Milwaukee (1/4 & 3/8) just because all my other cordless power tools are Milwaukee and I really like them.

edit: above links now work and the Black Friday sales look like great prices on complete Milwaukee starter kits that includes several tools and batteries for the normal price of impact ratchet only.

As others have mentioned invest in a 'battery system'.
Having a handful of 4Ah and 2Ah batteries of one system that I am very happy is a deterrent to buying another system. Batteries are always needed on hand and are a large part of the cost of investing in a tool set. You can always swap batteries between tools, no different than unhooking an airline up to another tool, but unlike an air compressor which can always supply air. I have used the M18 tools (my neighbor has them), but I went another direction. I do not have a cordless ratchet, but for the $$$ saved, I could pick up just the M18 ratchet (which has crossed my mind).
BUT the Milwaukee M18 line is fantastic.

Thanks for inputs!
I have had 18 V Makita drill, driver, hammer drills for years - but, with big batteries.
A former tenant left a new 20V Craftsman drill at one of our rentals (without charger), and after using it a bit I began to grab it. Then got a very good deal at Lowes on the driver, battery and charger. Same pro in that driver is smaller, lighter and easier to use than the Makita 18V with big battery.
So, now have Makita with big batteries and Craftsman with small (1.5 Ah) ... but, BOTH of their ratchets are huge. Will wait for BF deal, but bare tool Craftsman is half the price of Makita (not as good though)...and I don't need to buy smaller Makita batteries.
BUT, the little Huskey (HD) seems better sized (like the small battery versions of the Milwaukee) ... non replaceable battery, but most long term reviews say it works for a shift in most mechanic situations ...
First world problem ...
