Default 991.2 most NA sounding exhaust upgrade?

In search of an aftermarket exhaust to give a .2 a bit of magical flat-six naturally aspirated music! I understand it isn't technically possible to make the turbo engine sound like a GT3 or .1 car but some aftermarket exhausts have a low bassy tone while others have a higher pitched 'tuned' sound which is what I want. HJS 100cpsi or 200cpsi cats are part of the plan. Currently considering:

Start with high flow cats.

Go from there.

Currently running the Soul Trackback with high flow cats and low it.

My neighbors don't love it.

But I don't care.

My wife loves it and says it sounds like a proper car now.

I'll have less than 5k used soul cats for sale soon. And maybe less than 2k miles headers too. =)

We produce a higher pitched, tuned sound X-Pipe, as well as, HJS cored cats for the 991.2, purpose built and designed to avoid the deeper bass tones, which produce unwanted drone. We just built one last week. Fabricated here in the USA .

Equal length headers are the only way to get the gt3 sound. The gt3 sounds that way because of evenly spaced exhaust pulses as it has equal length headers. If you want a bunch of sound clips of a 991.2 with Vektor Performance equal length headers and catless muffler less exhaust, look up on Instagram 911atx.

Here's a 991.2 C2S at idle with Soul Sport Cats as the only mod.

pull the turbos and go NA. :P (i wonder how much power these 3.0l engines push out without forced induction.)

Misread the OP, thought he already had headers.

As mentioned equal length headers will definitely change the tone.

HFC BUMP up the volume.

Probably very little with a 10:1 compression ratio. The 991.1 made about 100 hp/l with a 12.5:1 compression ratio, so I'd expect if you pulled off the turbos and tuned the fuel appropriately with no other mods, maybe 240 hp? Engines that are designed as forced induction engines do not perform well without their air compressors.

240 really isn't that bad considering the 3.0l in the SC got ~180 and i think 210 on the non-US models.

Had an Akrapovic Titanium Exhaust and their 300 cell stainless sport cats. Car sounded more like a powerful NA V8 with that exhaust compared to limp-sounding PSE.

Love my Sharkwerks...

I just wish my undercarriage was this clean (old snap...). Dropping the bread box does a lot. Loses weight, doesn't mess with the environment, provides plenty of growl... In Sport (which someone here calls Douchebag Mode) it gives plenty of snap. I drive in O rdnung or I ndividual mode most of the time and it is plenty with everything opened all up.

Good luck!
