I just ordered up a set of PS4S's from Discount Tire this weekend.

Saved around $300.

Discount Tire has always been the best solution. They even work on vehciles with a center lock nut.
I have PS4S on my 991.2 and on my wife’s car. Not all that impressed sorry.

Went from P Zero --> PS4S on my C63. Appreciated an improvement in wet traction (not standing water puddles), but was comparing BALD P Zero to new PS4S.

As expected the PS4S was quieter and had better dry traction. Did not track the C63 so can't comment.

Was very impressed with the P Zero (OEM) on the 911, great in dry/wet and held up on the track with no appreciable wear, where other drivers with new PS4S had severe shoulder chunking and delamination issues.

Was going to go with the PS4S on my E63, but will end up putting on the PS AS4.

I doubt the place that charges $400 for an in-the-green $120 alignment that takes a maximum of 90 minutes will stoop to that...

Had P Zeros on my 991.2 C4S and though they are a fine tire, the front end never felt great. Switched to PS4S and they totally transformed the steering response and front-end grip. Have experienced this same difference on my 3 prior cars too. Have to question anyone saying the P Zeros are better. The only thing the Pirellis have over the Michelin is that they are slightly lighter.

Because of supply problems for the PS4S I've been thinking of purchasing Continental 'Extreme Contact Sport' tires. Does anyone have experience with them? Reviews are very good and they have a 340 tire wear rating. I won't be using them for track use, just for aggressive road use.

The new Sport Contact 7 will be hitting shelves soon, and is worth keeping an eye on based on the early reviews.

Glad you asked this. P Zeros are about $200 cheaper for 4 tires than PS4S!

Agree on the above, but worth noting that the PS4S has another benefit and that's treadwear or rather the actual miles/life you can get out of the tire. I've run both the PZ4 and PS4S on the same car with same driving habits and easily got 50% - 100% more life out of the Michelins. I've had similar experience with other competing tires as well on my other cars (Conti and Bridgestone) and outside of running Cup 2s for the track, will now only buy the 4S. After I noticed the discrepancy, I dug around and on Tire Rack's site they explain that the "treadwear" rating is a number set by the manufacturer not an industry standard or true comparison of expected tread life that we as buyers can use to compare between brands. Buyer beware as always I guess.

See my response above on treadwear/life above. My experience anyway and I think actual $ per mile matters more than initial $ per tire. That $200 savings evaporates quick if you only get 10k miles out of a set vs 15k - 20k.

Agree that usable tire life does matter.

P Zero (OEM) - 10k miles = Fronts at 50% and rears on the wear bars. 2:1 F:R seems pretty normal. Fortunately the wear was reasonably even across the tread.

On my C63 I found similar life span for P Zero and the PS4S FWIW.

I got about 20K miles on the 4S with aggressive driving. Much quieter than PZwro imo and I am more confident driving with the 4S.

Also, with the PZeros I used to get punctures galore. With the 4S, I only got 1 in the 20K miles driven.

I am sticking with the 4S.

The wear on the 4S is more likely to be even than a RWD car.

Bottom line is that people have their preferences and are entitled to them.

I have them and I really like them, replaced the Pirellis and they are much quieter. I've had the Michelin P4S on another car and I like the Contis.
