2016 911... that I found for sale... dealer will not CPO as a result... can someone please provide insight and help me interrupt? Also, help me with feedback. Trying to determine the level of "bad"
Thank you in advance

Yikes. That's a lot of overrevs in 5 and 6 range. But if I remember correctly the 610 is hours since it happened so you may be ok but personally I would not want the car unless the deal was too good to pass up.

That's run away screaming bad...

610.17 h is when the last one occurred, not how long ago. It has been ridden hard and put away wet.

That's kind of what I thought just from brief internet research... don't know much but that seemed like it has been drove hard... Thank you all.

Thanks! I usually get that backwards.... This would be a no go, even for me and I like a cheap risky car!

Unfortunately its not (in my opinion) a good deal either... 2016 Targa GTS 30K miles... $140K.

There is a reason the dealer won't CPO it. Imagine that Porsche thinks it's a risky to warranty this vehicle for just two additional years based on that report alone.

Was or Is the car tuned with a raised rev limiter? (Another factor why Porsche may not CPO vehicle)

In general with normally aspirated models (NON-GT) range 1-3 are acceptable, range 4 is a grey zone and 5-6 are bad.

Porsche will not CPO if ranges 5-6 are present and some will not CPO if range 4 is detected.

Overall this one is a mess especially at that price.

Pretty good video on the subject:

One way to think about this particular failed CPO is that Porsche believes the car is flawed enough to likely require repairs within a couple years, and it is not worth the financial risk for them to warranty it.
Move on with your search.
