I'm not answering your question, but just a suggestion:
Are there wrapping options available near you? This would save you a considerable amount of money and if you want to reverse if, it could just be peeled off. Fairly durable on trim as it is designed for the outside of the car.
Trust me, I am searhing on various used-sites and ebay.de.
There are a lot, but they are pricey, and I just want to make sure they fit, before I throw 6-700 $ or more out the window.
Wrapping could be a solution.
Anybody have a nice link in here to trim panel removal. Would be a bummer to break something.
I found plenty on center dash trim removal - ie. Installation of short throw shifter.
Trim is fairly easy to remove on these cars. I’ve taken off the center console just to change the cubby to a cupholder and had to remove parts of the dash by the steering wheel to get my new tweeters installed. The dash area trim removal link is below. Just be sure to have some patience and a trim removal tool.
Hello all
Just a quick update on the trim piece question. I managed to get a full used crome set from ebay, from Poland. Quite nice actually. With the in spare, I wrapped the ones I had with red’ish carbon. Think it looks quite nice on the LO color. And did the interior door also.
I am trying to replace my interior trim on my 2016 C2S, as I have silver, and would like to replace them with other ones painted LO as the car.
However, I would very much like to buy some used ones here in Europe, and paint them myself. So that I can change back some day if i regret.
Does anybody have the parts. Nrs for the pieces. I believe there are 4 or 5 pieces, and the square one around the gearlever. 6 in total.
Keyhole, next to st.wheel, the cupholder, and one one each side of that.
Does the 991.1 fit on the 991.2 ?
Would greatly appreciate a little help from my friends :-)

here is a good link to all the interior part numbers. this is for a eurpean spec car- if you go back a few tabs you can change it to US and change the model year and designation. .1 and .2 cars should be the same on trim parts as well as the same year boxters and caymans. The only trim piece that is really not removable is the door panel trim piece if you have it (usually only in leather interior cars) as it is riveted into the door panel.
