My car(991.2 cabriolet gts) 's key only had three buttons, and the fourth button was unmarked and blocked.
I cut a hole in the 4th button that was blocked and made it work, and then used the , code to open and close the top . Unfortunately, I don't remember what I coded to make this work, but it wasn't anything too difficult, just one of those simple on/off things.
Just wondering if you discovered what code you changed to get this to work with that 4th button. I have a 991.1 and I've been able to get the keyfob to control just the windows but not the top. Much appreciated.

I'm likewise curious. I have a Targa and got a SmartTop module for it. That handles a bunch of things beyond what ( I think) the built-in systems will provide.
I am also curious to know what coding gets the vehicle to recognize the 4th button. I suspect I'll have to remove/disable the smarttop in order to better experiment with the 4th button programming.

I was never able to get it to work. Just went with smart top.

I would gladly help you find the coding with PIWIS. Yobiwan posted on my coding thread asking the same question. He must have added the coding for the 4th button. PM me if interested
